A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US
WHY DO WE DO THIS?
Slacklining is our passion. It is our hope, as well as our expectation, that the sport will continue to grow steadily with inclusivity, safety, stewardship, learning, and fun at the forefront. As with many unfamiliar activities, a concerted effort must be made towards education and positive recognition as the public builds familiarity with the sport. At first glance, slacklining looks dangerous and a little crazy, which results in slacklining initiatives and activities being met with concern or prohibition. We want to not only educate people about the sport, and the extent to which safety and stewardship practices have made it one of the safest extreme sports with the lowest environmental impact, but also widen accessibility for anyone wanting to be part of this uniquely gratifying sport. As an experienced and mindful group of slackliners, we hope to support the development and growth of the slackline ecosystem, expand its borders, and leave a positive mark throughout our communities.
